First, from Oyama we have the Rosette de Lyon- an air-dried salami from a dry cured pork sausage with a coarse texture, flavoured with peppercorns and red wine- the quintessential charcuterie salami. Next is the Rioja Chorizo, a paprika-hued powerhouse of flavour. Its garlic, smoke and wine notes linger on your palate until the next bite.
The Benton Brothers know their cheese- and this trio of deliciousness covers your cheese board must-haves. The Double Cream Brie has a mild yet rich flavour, with notes of mushrooms and hazelnut, with a slight tang. Secondly, Kootenay Nostrala is cave-aged for a minimum of 60 days giving it a nice firm texture, sweet nuttiness and a floral finish. Last but certainly not least, Manchego- a semi-firm sheep's milk cheese with mild flavours of herbs and fruit.
You didn’t think we’d forget the “fixins”, did you? The Preservatory’s best selling Fig & Walnut Wine preserve is the perfect accompaniment to balance the savoury flavours of the charcuterie and cheese.
