ABOUT HEALING BEES
A true family business with a passion for bees.
Healing Bees Natural Skincare was built by a wife and husband team, Agnes and Laszlo, born out of a love for cooking and the knowledge they’ve gained through their professions- Agnes is a Registered Dietician and Laszlo a Registered Nurse. Their adventures in bee keeping started when their mini-farm’s young fruit trees stood barren without pollination. Looking to fix this problem, they started beekeeping as a hobby, and happily watched their garden thrive while reducing their ecological footprint.
After 8 years of enjoying their own honey and experimenting with beeswax, Agnes started making hand cream and lotion, with a focus on wholesome ingredients under the “you are what you eat/put on your skin” mindset.
Healing Bees began in earnest in 2017, and has grown to be a true family venture. The kids help with honey extraction, labeling, and packaging. Laszlo is the beekeeper and with organic beekeeping practices, brings the honey and beeswax to the table. Agnes’ brother and sister-in-law do all the design, art work, and photography for their website and labels, while her mother, who is a chemist, helps with ideas and troubleshooting when it comes to experimenting with new recipes. Agnes’ experience in cooking and analytical skills play a key role in new product creation, while her Food Safety and HACCP standards knowledge ensure all products are safe for the consumer.
Together they’ve created a whole line of Healing Bees products that they hope you will love and enjoy as much their family does!
