The Cascadia Soap Co. offers clean, plant-based apothecary-style preparations including soaps, remedies, infusions and teas. They believe that each journey to naturally vibrant skin starts with handmade, organic skincare products that are formulated by combining the most nutritious plant extracts, botanicals, vitamins and oils for various skin types at different life stages.
The company was started by Joel and Maureen Morassutti after their family immigrated to the lush, beautiful land of British Columbia in the early 1960s. Growing up on a small farm and vineyard in the South of France, Joel often observed his mother and grandmother transform the bountiful botanicals harvested from their land into self-nourishing and healing skincare products. For the past three decades, The Cascadia Soap Co. has been honoring those generations-long recipes that were passed down through the years within the Morassutti family.
Today, The Cascadia Soap Co. is overseen by Francine, and she is no newbie to skincare. Before taking the reins at The Cascadia Soap Co., Francine had a long career in the beauty industry as a full-time aesthetician when she realized that there were too many unknown and toxic ingredients involved in many of today’s beauty brands. In an effort to live a cleaner life, she joined the team at The Cascadia Soap Co. and is proud to continue the Southern French lineage by formulating and creating natural skincare remedies with only the purest quality ingredients Mother Nature has to offer.
