This website (granvilleislanddelivery.co) is operated by Vancouver Foodie Inc. (dba Granville Island Delivery Co.) Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Granville Island Delivery Co. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user/customer, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the site, including, without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Lead Times & Corporate Order Deposits
We currently have a two business day lead time, due to our fulfillment process with our Vendors. This ensures that your items arrive fresh on the day of your order. Orders must be placed by 12pm 2 days prior (Pacific standard time) to qualify for delivery. For orders larger than 20 gift boxes we require 10 business days, and for large corporate volume orders lead times of 2-4 weeks may apply based on product availability.
For corporate volume orders, a deposit schedule may be required based on lead time, delivery date and total value of order.
Product and Substitutions
Every effort is made to include all the items listed on every product page in every gift. Because of the seasonal nature of some of the items, it is necessary at times to substitute products when appropriate. We reserve the right to substitute products of equal or greater value in these situations.
Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e‑mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
All prices are subject to any applicable taxes according to federal and state/provincial/territorial laws. If your location can be determined, prices will be shown in your currency. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we must reserve the right to adjust the price of those items.
User comments, feedback and other submissions
If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments. For this reason, we ask that you not send us any comments that you do not wish to assign to us, including any confidential information or any original creative materials such as stories, product ideas, computer code or original artwork.
Unless otherwise noted, the website, and all materials on the website, including text, images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips and other materials, and the copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property in such materials (collectively, the "Contents"), are owned, controlled or licensed by Vancouver Foodie Inc. and other trademarks appearing on the Sites are the trademarks of Vancouver Foodie Inc. and/or its subsidiaries.
The website and the Contents are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may download or copy the Contents and other downloadable materials displayed on the Sites for your personal use only. No right, title or interest in any downloaded Content is transferred to you as a result of any such downloading or copying. Certain content, products and services available via our service may include materials from third-parties. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. Liquor Delivery Service
As per the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Act, Basket Revolution Gifts may offer customers the option to add liquor to their gift baskets, hampers and boxes. The Act permits a delivery service to purchase the liquor on behalf of a customer and deliver the liquor to the customer. By placing your request for liquor to be added to your gift order, you certify under penalty of law that you and the intended recipients are at least 19 years old. Our delivery agents are trained to follow the Serve It Right program and are instructed to obtain identification of the gift recipient to ensure age of majority.
As the company is not permitted to store any alcohol on the premises, the company will purchase liquor on your behalf. Liquor prices will be charged at liquor store pricing, plus a $5 pick up fee and these prices are included in the prices of the gift arrangements.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Granville Island Delivery Co. harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Sites and/or your breach of any representation, warranty, or other provision of the Agreement.
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your product and would like to return please let us know by contacting 604-728-5846 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Shipping charges are non-refundable. For returned gift boxes, a 20% restocking fee will be applied and the customer is responsible for shipping charges related to the return of the goods.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
