Kathy Geiger had been a talented candy maker for over 20 years before taking the plunge to start her own company. Kathy’s signature Almond Butter Crunch was a hit with family and friends year after year during the holiday season. Every year, they told her she had to start selling it, and Kathy was finally convinced in 2006, when she started Fraser Valley Gourmet. With resounding success from the start, Kathy happily watched customers, families, and their loved ones bond over the delicious treats.In 2016, Kathy decided to hand over the baton to three friends and chefs- Jan, Adri, and David, whose fresh ideas and innovative approach to the business helped the company grow across Canada.
To this day, their popular treats are hand made in small batches, with natural ingredients, to ensure that every bite is as delectable as when Kathy was making Almond Butter Crunch in her own kitchen. At Fraser Valley Gourmet, they strongly believe there is no better way to end a day than by sharing great tasting candy with friends. Like the saying goes: “Life is sweet like candy to my soul”.
